One thing I love about photography is that I get to show the world what I see, and it’s always fun to try photographing a subject from a different point of view to see what I can create. You don’t have to change your perspective drastically to get results—sometimes you can capture a great image simply by moving yourself up or down a few feet (Figures 8.11 and 8.12). Not only will you be looking at the subject from a different perspective, but your background will also change, sometimes for the better. Try moving up and down when taking photos to see what kind of results you can get.
Giving your images a different perspective can also change the dynamics of the image (Figure 8.13). By getting in close, you bring the viewer into the scene so they feel as if they are experiencing the moment along with you.
