Internet Marketing Tips – Are You Running A Black Friday Sale?

Well, with Black Friday coming up, have you given any thought to running a Black Friday sale? No? You might want to think twice about that decision. I know what you’re thinking. With all the people celebrating Thanksgiving and then going out the next day to do their Christmas shopping, there won’t be anybody in front of the computer when your sale starts. Well, you couldn’t be more mistaken. This article explains why. There is a misconception going around that when holidays or big shopping days hit the planet, that nobody is in front of their computers. They’re either out celebrating or shopping. Well, believe it or not, in the age of the Internet, this is not always the case. See, a lot of people (and this is no knock on anybody) are lazy. They don’t want to go out and fight with traffic and stand in long lines at the mall. I know I sure don’t. I do almost ALL my Christmas shopping online. For that matter, I do almost all my shopping period online. And why not? It’s not like the prices are that much more expensive shopping online. In some cases, because of the lack of overhead, the prices are lower. Sure, with shipping and handling, maybe you’re paying a little more or about the same. But isn’t that worth it to not have to battle the traffic and the long shopping lines? I know it is for me.Point is, a lot of people think the way I do and actually stay home on Black Friday. That means they’re in front of their computer just ripe for your offer. The key is making them an offer that they can’t refuse. My apologies to the Godfather. What’s an offer too good to refuse? Well, let’s say you have a product that sells for $97 regularly. Why not put it on sale for $47 for JUST that one day? Think you won’t make a ton of sales? Think again. A lot of people who weren’t going to buy that product for $97 WILL buy it for $47.I love Black Friday. I know it’s a day when people are out there looking for bargains. I plan to run a Black Friday sale. I haven’t decided what it will be yet, but it’s going to be a dandy. I can guarantee you that. If you’re smart, you’ll run one too.To YOUR Success,Steven Wagenheim
